Former WNBA Player Iciss Tillis is set to rally supporters and her Tulsa community to vote for Dr. Angela K. Chambers for District 1 City Council on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The event, dubbed "Reach the Community Knocking and Talking Powerwalk and Fundraiser," will be held at Crawford Park, located at 2201 N Hartford Ave., starting at 8:30 AM. Tillis and the campaign team are enthusiastic about the campaign, advocating for much-needed change in the district.

Dr. Angela K. Chambers' campaign is rapidly gaining traction as more residents become aware that incumbent Vanessa Hall-Harper faces a formidable challenger this election cycle. The call to action is clear: voters are encouraged to support Dr. Chambers with their votes on August 27th. The polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM, and this election will not only decide the future of District 1 but also determine Tulsa's next Mayor.

Iciss Tillis is committed to educating her community and inspiring both her generation and future ones to become engaged and mindful citizens.
