The Greenwood Beat - WFPG proudly celebrates a living legend and pillar of the community. Mr. Bobby Eaton, a world-famous bassist who has traveled the globe performing alongside icons like Natalie Cole and Charlie Wilson, returned to his roots to invest in the next generation. He didn't just bring music home—he brought opportunity, starting a community radio station that introduced local voices, especially youth, to the power of the airwaves. It’s where many—including our founder—got their start in radio. Today, Mr. Eaton is still bringing the heat, now rocking with his newest group, the "Eaton Out Band."
